The Beginning

The EURO 48 project is slowly drawing to an end with only a few European countries left to summit, but with every end starts a new beginning. With this in mind, I have spent the last few months thinking about my next adventure! I wanted to do something with the family but, strangely, they are not as keen on climbing as I am! So, after reading about similar projects on the net, we have come up with 'London 26' - an alphabetical journey through London's global restaurants and café's.

With the last project, most of the travel just seemed like a by-product, a flashing blur of images as we raced to the next summit. With London 26, although we won't even leave the confines of the M25, I hope to savour the experience and enjoy the time spent 'exploring' the chosen country's food. We want to cover the world as extensively as possible and taste some of the more exotic and lesser know national cuisines and, as an on going project, we hope to share it with family and friends whenever possible. 

So, for 'Cuisine and Culture' we start with 'A' for Afghanistan!
